Rahmani Taha Abdelaziz recently defended his doctoral thesis titled "Gestion Intelligente et Distribuée des Ressources dans les Systèmes Hétérogènes (CPU/GPU) de type Cloud Computing" (Intelligent and Distributed Resource Management in Heterogeneous (CPU/GPU) Cloud Computing Systems) to earn his Doctorat LMD in Informatics, specializing in Distributed Informatics and Networks.

The thesis focuses on optimizing resource management within heterogeneous computing environments, specifically those that utilize both CPU and GPU resources in cloud computing settings. This research aims to address the challenges of managing distributed resources efficiently, ensuring better performance and scalability for cloud-based systems.

The defense was conducted in front of a distinguished jury, including Pr. Lougmiri ZEKRI from Univ. d'Oran1-A.B, who served as the president, and other notable members such as Pr. Omar SMAIL, Pr. Sidi Mohammed BENSLIMANE, Pr. Bouabdellah KECHAR, Pr. Ghalem BELALEM, and Pr. Sidi Ahmed MAHMOUDI from Université UMONS, Belgium, acting as the co-director of the thesis.

Rahmani's work contributes significantly to the field of cloud computing by proposing innovative approaches for intelligent and distributed resource management in complex computing environments, marking an important step towards more efficient and responsive cloud systems.
